What people are saying
"[The Active Aging Society's Choose to Move program] is a regular meet-up [that] encourages commitment. It also allows for sharing of information and resources...and in the future, after Covid, an increased social circle."
– CHOOSE TO MOVE PARTICIPANT
"One individual just retired and shared with me that [Choose to Move] has helped him tremendously. He has found the motivation and knowledge to keep himself active for life as he moves into this new stage."

Indigenous Land Acknowledgement
The Active Aging Society acknowledges that our offices are on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples– the Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh & Musqueam First Nations.
As uninvited settlers and guests on this land, we commit to learning and unlearning in support of reconciliation and to acknowledge the past and ongoing injustices to Indigenous peoples.
The Society’s activities take place on Indigenous lands throughout British Columbia. We ask all visitors to our website, and our partners and collaborators to please take the time to learn about the Indigenous territories, languages and communities where they live: First Peoples’ Map of B.C. & native-land.ca.
